Day of Service

On January 20, 2025, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday will mark the 30th anniversary as a National Day of Service. This day was established to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King and to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.

We are asking Kettle Falls Middles School Students to spend part of their day off performing an act of community service. We would like the students to do some "chores" for family or a neighbor and then ask to be "paid" with a non-perishable food item to be donated to the KF Food Bank. The food drive will be a competition between Advisory Classes! The winning Advisory Class with the most weight in food will win a donut party.

Principal's Corner

Tracy Vining

Welcome to Kettle Falls Middle School!

It is my privilege to introduce you to an amazing school that has a history of remarkable student growth in both academics and character. We stress both of these in the daily implementation of our KFMS goal:

At KFMS we demonstrate kindness, responsibility, and teamwork, increasing our sense of belonging, growth mindset, and the value service plays in our lives,

schools, and community.

Our staff uses the Character Strong curriculum to encourage students to work together to solve problems, understand differences, and build a better world through empathy and action. These character traits assist students in using a growth mindset to improve in academics, athletics, and life!

Kettle Falls School District has a roadside billboard that states, Kettle Strong ~ One Team ~ One Family ~ One Community. As a lifelong resident of Kettle Falls, this is very important to me. Every student and family member should feel welcome the minute they enter the KFMS building. We would love for you to visit us and experience what it means to be Kettle Strong!
