Today, our 2nd grade students embarked on an exciting journey to Stonerose in Republic, where they got the chance to dig for fossils and step into the shoes of real-life paleontologists! Armed with chisels and other tools, students eagerly chipped away at layers of rock in search of ancient treasures hidden beneath the surface.

To everyone’s delight, many of our young explorers uncovered prehistoric finds, ranging from plant fossils to imprints of creatures that roamed the earth millions of years ago. It was an amazing hands-on learning experience, sparking curiosity and excitement for science and history.

A huge thank you to the dedicated staff and chaperones who helped guide the students through this unforgettable Adventure. We encourage families to ask their students about their fossil discoveries and what they learned on this memorable trip!
