We Got the Beat: Homecoming Week 2023

Get ready, Bulldogs, because homecoming week is just around the corner, and it's bound to be a rhythm-filled blast! This year's theme is "We got the Beat," and it's all about celebrating our Bulldog pride with style and sound! From October 23rd to October 28th, students can look forward to a week of exciting activities, dress-up days, and, of course, the Homecoming parade, game, and dance.

The dress-up days for Homecoming Week are sure to bring out the creativity in all of us. Monday kicks things off with "Twin Day," inspired by the iconic song, "Man in the Mirror." Tuesday takes us to the beach for "Surfin in the USA" with a beach theme. Wednesday is all about embracing our inner cowboys and cowgirls for the Western theme, channeling the spirit of "Should have been a Cowboy." Thursday is a fun twist with "Thrift Shop Thursday," where students can mix and match for the ultimate mismatched look. Finally, on Friday, we come together for "Our House" by wearing our Bulldog gear loud and proud. Students, don't forget to join us on Sunday, October 22, from 2-4 pm to help decorate the hallways!

On Friday, October 27, the Homecoming parade will begin at 3:15 p.m. The parade travels down Meyers Street and celebrates all fall sports teams including cross country, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and football as well as our homecoming royalty. Following the parade is the Bulldogs' football game which begins at 6:00 with seniors and families recognized at 5:40. Admission prices are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students without ASB cards.  Homecoming Royalty will be announced at halftime. Saturday, October 28, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, students will put the finishing touches on the gym for the Homecoming dance, which will be held from 7:00-10:00 p.m.  Tickets to the student homecoming dance are $15. Let's come together and make this Homecoming Week unforgettable, Bulldogs!
