Pi Night

The family engagement night at KFMS centered around the intriguing theme of Pi (3.14) and a diverse range of activities. Mrs. Purvis and her team's math games were a hit, both students and families were engaged in fun and educational challenges. Mr. Ballance's celebration of Albert Einstein's birthday with science activities, including the use of liquid nitrogen, added an exciting and interactive element to the event. His demonstrations were both entertaining and educational, showcasing the wonders of science to the attendees.

Additionally, Mrs. Vining and Mrs. St. Clair gathered feedback from parents on various aspects of the school's operations and showed a commitment to continuous improvement and open communication. The night ended with pizza and a drawing for pies was a delightful way to conclude the event and further engage the participants. 75 people signed in, indicating a strong turnout and a high level of engagement from the school community.

The variety of activities, from the "Digits of Pi Competition" to the active games and paper activities, ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy.
