For the second year, OSPI approved the Outdoor Learning Adventure Grant for Kettle Falls Elementary School! We are already putting the money to good use by upgrading our photography cameras, adding more strider bikes, winter snow gear, and much more. More fun Adventures ahead!

How much do you know about frogs? 3rd grade students shared with other students the frog books they created from expedition work. It made a spectacular Freaky Frog Festival!
Share some animal love! 4th grade students are raising awareness for Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary through their βBetter World Dayβ activities. Students visited the facility earlier this month, and now are hosting a pet food drive to support the Sanctuary.
3rd grade students joined the annual Fur Trade Festival at the Kettle Falls Historical Center to experience and learn about our local history.

Kindergarten students are practicing watercolor painting to become watercolor experts. They will create a high quality tree part appreciation card. This is one of many learning activities for their current expedition - studying trees in our community.

Mark your calendar! 3rd Grade students will perform the Peter Pan play on May 23rd. This all students performance will be at the Woodland Theatre. Plan to watch Mrs. Graves and Mr. Rielly's cast perform at 4:00pm, then Mrs. Scharbrough and Mr. Rielly's cast at 6:00pm. Entrance to the theatre is by donation. See you there!

In honor of Autism Awareness month, Marisa Burke taught the Elementary students at All School CREW how to be a good friend to students with autism. Another event for Autism Awareness is the 2nd Annual Walk for Autism. It will be held this Sunday, April 28th, at the Kettle Falls High School Track. Come support students in our community! Pre-registration can be done online with the QR code or thru forms at the office. Registration starts at 9:30 am and the walk begins at 11:00 am.
Happy Earth Day! In honor of Earth Day 2024, students planted marigold seeds to hopefully transplant into the planters in front of the Elementary School. In what way are you helping keep the earth healthy?
How high can you climb? 3rd Grade students had a blast of an indoor adventure while rock climbing at Wild Walls in Spokane. Students built muscle, stamina, and conquered fears within the safe environment of a climbing gym.
1st, 2nd, and 4th Grade students recently travelled to Usk, Washington to the Camas Center for Wellness to have an indoor swimming adventure. They had a lot of fun swimming, sliding, and splashing around while learning to be safe in water!
An Easter tradition, students in every grade level helped dye easter eggs for the Lady Lionβs Annual Kettle Falls Easter Egg Hunt. These photos show the great dyeing space created by teachers for their second grade students and some of the final product!
Bubbles & Chalk Character Celebration - Ms. Munds' Kindergarten class has been working for the past couple weeks to earn "responsible points" for a bubble and sidewalk chalk party. Check out all the fun in the sun that they had when they earned their points!
